pripovedačkih struktura, sadržinske građe i filozofskih pojmova u proznom opusu Danila
Kiša (1935–1989) i Prima Levija (1919–1987). Rad pruža saznanja o različitim strukturnim
planovima teksta Kišovih i Levijevih dela, i odgovarajućem značenjskom učinku i
poetičkoj funkciji nabrojanih postupaka oblikovanja, objedinjenih u istraživanju pod
nazivom „figure preobražaja“.
U uvodnom delu govorili smo o tematsko-sadržinskim i poetičko-formalnim
njihove stvaralačke rekontekstualizacije i intertekstualnim varijacijama izabranih
žanrovskih modela i prikazivačkih obrazaca iz književne tradicije...
This thesis centers on the questions of aesthetic values and the range of ideas that
deal with the literary techniques of transforming language material as well as literary
expressive tools, narrative structures, content sources and philosophical notions in the prose
fiction of Danilo Kiš (1935–1989) and Primo Levi (1919–1987). It also provides an
analysis of various structural frameworks used in their texts, the corresponding semantic
effects and the poetic functions of these specific writing techniques in the thesis referred to
as ’the tropes of transformation’.
The introduction part focuses on the thematic range and content as well as formal
and poetic characteristics of their fiction, shedding light upon the numerous similarities in
their work which opens up another comparative perspective. The second chapter deals with
a short literary-theoretical review of notions expressed in thesis title. Moreover, it
establishes the methodological value of these notions as a part of broader cr...itical
evaluations and various research of specific literary works of fiction that belong to different
epochs.
The third and the fourth part elaborates on both Kiš and Levi’s literary
transformation of autobiographical and documentary material, their self-revealing writing
strategies that represent the threshold between testimony and fiction – in Hourglass, A
Tomb for Boris Davidovich and a novel The Wrench respectively. The fifth and the sixth
chapter focuses on the questions of authors’ self-reflection on the problem of narrative
reception regarding formal techniques, literary recontextualizations and intertextual
variations of representative genres as well as various patterns and modes that derive from
literary traditions...
