Re-konceptualizacija upotrebne vrednosti stana: tumačenje svakodnevnog života u stambenoj izgradnji za potrebe JNA

Abstract

Ovo istraživanje teži kritičkom razumevanju i tumačenju koncepta upotrebne vrednosti stana u različitim kontekstima prostorno-društvenih odnosa. Osnovna premisa istraživanja jeste da je koncept upotrebne vrednosti stana moguće tumačiti kao prostorni odraz promenljivih društvenih praksi. Ova premisa zasnovana je na dijalektičkom odnosu praksi stanovanja koje se odvijaju u prostoru svakodnevnog života, i sistemskih promena društvenoekonomskih i političkih paradigmi koje se ispoljavaju kroz procese društvene pokretljivosti. Teorijski osnov ovog dijalektičkog odnosa čine koncept upotrebne vrednosti i koncept svakodnevnog života čija se tumačenja dvojako primenjuju u polju arhitektonskog diskursa i to putem kolonizacije svakodnevnog života i prisvajanja prostora. Ključni doprinos ove disertacije ogleda se u metodologiji istraživanja koje afirmiše izvore poput masovnih medija, terenskog istraživanja kroz intervjue i drugih neformalnih zapisa kao izvore kompetentne da uz pažljivo čitanje i interpretaciju informišu akademske studije na inovativan način, i posledično otkriju ranije nepoznate ili zanemarene aspekte predmetnog diskursa. Predmet istraživanja ove disertacije čini stambena izgradnja za potrebe vojske (JNA) koja se pokazala kao relativno koherentna, prethodno neistražena, društvenoprostorna pojava adekvatna za ispitivanje višedecenijskih promena. Rezultat istraživanja i način njegove reprezentacije čine doprinos arhitektonsko-urbanističkoj disciplini, koji teži unapređenju pozicije i upotrebe projektantskih alata u okviru metodologije interdisciplinarnih istraživanja, te afirmiše alate grafičke simulacije kroz grafičku naraciju kao potentna sredstva istraživanja u akademskim okvirima.

The aim of this research is to critically understand and interpret the concept of the use value of an apartment within different spatial and social contexts. The main hypothesis of the research states that it is possible to interpret the concept of the use value of an apartment as a mutable social practice reflected in space. This hypothesis is based on the dialectical relation between residential practices taking place within the space of everyday life and systematic changes in socio-economic and political paradigms manifesting through the processes of social mobility. The theoretical foundation for this dialectical relation consists of the concept of use value and the concept of everyday life which are applied in two different ways within the field of architectural discourse – as a colonization of everyday life and appropriation of space. The key contribution of this dissertation is the research methodology which endorses sources such as mass media, field research by means of interviews and other less formal records as qualified to inform academic studies in an innovative way through careful reading and interpretation, and consequently discover previously unknown or disregarded aspects of discourse in question. The research subject of this dissertation is the housing commissioned by the Army (JNA) which proved to be a relatively consistent, previously unexplored, socio-spatial phenomenon suitable for examining changes spanning decades. The result of the research and the mode of its representation contribute to the field of architecture and urban planning, with a tendency to advance the role and use of design tools in interdisciplinary research and affirm the graphic simulation by means of graphic narration as a potent research tool in academic context.
