Југословенско-бугарски односи: 1929-1941.

Abstract

Предмет овог рада представљају југословенско-бугарски односи од 1929. до 1941. године. За 1929. као почетну границу нашег истраживања одлучили смо се из разлога што је она представљала почетак личне диктатуре краља Александра, као и почетак рада на регулисању односа са Бугарском. Што се тиче 1941. године, она је јасно омеђена прекидом дипломатских односа и почетком ратног стања између две јужнословенске краљевине. У раду смо анализирали преговоре са Бугарском током 1929 и 1930, којима је требало регулисати стање на граници. Посебан предмет истраживања представљали су југословенско-бугарски односи након пада владе Андреја Љапчева 1931, питања ратних репарација, бугарског наоружавања, као и сусрети краља Александра и краља Бориса. Настојали смо и да испитамо југословенске везе са „пријатељским“ круговима у Бугарској. Тежили смо и да утврдимо колико је Балкански споразум, практично уперен против Бугарске, имао утицаја на даље развијање југословенско-бугарских односа. Пажња је посвећена и односу Милана Стојадиновића према Бугарској, као и Пакту о вечном пријатељству и његовом утицају на даље односе између две земље. Посебан акценат је стављен на догађаје на Балкану у предвечерје и након почетка рата у Европи и снажну дипломатску борбу и притиске великих сила. С тим у вези, анализиран је раст бугарских ревизионистичких аспирација у наведеном периоду и њихов утицај на односе између две земље. У циљу добијања свеобухватније слике односа две јужнословенске државе, пажњу смо посветили проучавању и утврђивању сарадње на културном, верском, трговинском и научном нивоу, који су били скрајнути у поређењу са политичким односима. Одређеног утицаја на југословенско-бугарске односе имао је и развој македонског питања у Северној Америци, што смо такође настојали да обрадимо. Рад је заснован на необјављеној грађи из Архива Југославије, Архива Српске академије наука и уметности, Војног архива у Београду, Државног архива Републике Северне Македоније, Државног архива Србије, Историјског архива Београда, Музеја ваздухопловства и Централног државног архива у Софији, објављеној архивској грађи, дневницима и мемоарима, штампи и периодици, као и релевантној домаћој и страној научној литератури

The subject of this work is Yugoslav-Bulgarian relations from 1929 to 1941. We decided on the year 1929 as the starting point of our research because it represented the beginning of the personal dictatorship of King Alexander, as well as the beginning of the regulation of relations with Bulgaria. As for 1941, it is clearly defined by the termination of diplomatic relations and the beginning of the state of war between the two South Slavic kingdoms. In the paper, we analyzed the negotiations with Bulgaria during 1929-1930, which were supposed to regulate the situation on the border. A special subject of research was Yugoslav-Bulgarian relations after the fall of the government of Andrei Ljapchev in 1931, issues of war reparations, Bulgarian armaments, as well as meetings between King Alexander and King Boris. We also tried to examine Yugoslav connections with “friendly” circles in Bulgaria. We also sought to determine how much influence the Balkan Agreement, practically directed against Bulgaria, had on the further development of Yugoslav- Bulgarian relations. Attention is also paid to Milan Stojadinović's attitude towards Bulgaria, as well as to the Pact of Eternal Friendship and its influence on further relations between the two countries. Special emphasis is placed on the events in the Balkans on the eve and after the start of the war in Europe and the strong diplomatic struggle and pressures of the great powers. In this connection, the growth of Bulgarian revisionist aspirations in the mentioned period and their impact on the relations between the two countries were analyzed. In order to obtain a more comprehensive picture of the relations between the two South Slavic states, we devoted our attention to the study and establishment of cooperation on the cultural, religious, trade and scientific levels, which were marginal compared to political relations. The development of the Macedonian question in North America also had a certain impact on Yugoslav-Bulgarian relations, which we also tried to process. The work is based on unpublished materials from the Archives of Yugoslavia, the Archives of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts, the Military Archives in Belgrade, the State Archives of the Republic of North Macedonia, the State Archives of Serbia, the Historical Archives of Belgrade, the Aviation Museum and the Central State Archives in Sofia, published archival materials, diaries and memoirs, press and periodicals, as well as relevant domestic and foreign scientific literature.
