dc.description.abstractSAŽETAK: Predmet istraživanja rada je ispitivanje mogućnosti razvijanja elemenata matematičke pismenosti u mlađim razredima osnovne škole. Na bazi teorijskog razmatranja fenomena matematičke pismenosti i sagledavanja mogućnosti njenog razvijanja kod učenika mlađeg školskog uzrasta operacionalizovan je ovaj pojam, izdvojeni su nivoi matematičke pismenosti i opisana njihova sadržina. U radu je osnovno polazište da se elementi matematičke pismenosti kod učenika mlađih razreda osnovne škole mogu razvijati na sadržajima koji sadrže zahteve određenog nivoa matematičke pismenosti. Međutim, pored sadržaja, moramo uzeti u obzir i druge elemente matematičkog obrazovanja od kojih direktno zavise ishodi matematičkog obrazovanja, a to su učitelji, kao neposredni realizatori nastavnog procesa i udžbenici matematike. Empirijski deo doktorske disertacije imao je za cilj da ispita mogućnosti podsticanja i razvijanja elemenata matematičke pismenosti kroz oblikovanje sadržaja, zatim u kojoj meri udžbenici matematike stvaraju osnovu za njegovo razvijanje i kakvi su stavovi učenika o pristupu učenju matematike kroz rešavanje problema iz realnog okruženja. Dobijeni rezultati istraživanja pokazuju da se elementi matematičke pismenosti mogu razvijati kod učenika mlađih razreda osnovne škole adekvatnim sadržajima. Učenici su iskazali pozitivne stavove prema pristupu učenju matematike kroz rešavanje problema iz realnog okruženja. Analiza sadržaja udžbenika matematike pokazala je da udžbenici stvaraju dobru osnovu za razvijanje elemenata matematičke pismenosti i to najviše za prvi nivo matematičke pismenosti, dok sadržaja koji odgovaraju drugom i trećem nivou nema u dovoljnoj meri. Dobijeni rezultati pokazuju da se elementi matematičke pismenosti mogu razvijati i kod učenika mlađeg školskog uzrasta za šta je neophodan adekvatan odabir sadržaja koji su povezani sa realnim životom učenika.sr
dc.description.abstractABSTRACT: The subject of this research is to examine the possibility of developing elements of mathematical literacy in lower grades of primary school. On the basis of theoretical consideration of the phenomenon of mathematical literacy and consideration of the possibility of its development in students of lower school age, this concept was operationalized, the levels of mathematical literacy were singled out and their content was described. The main starting point in the paper is that the elements of mathematical literacy in lower primary school students can be developed on contents that contain the requirements of a certain level of mathematical literacy. However, in addition to the content, we must take into account the other elements of mathematics education on which the outcomes of mathematics education directly depend, and these are teachers, as the direct implementers of the teaching process, and mathematics textbooks. The empirical part of the doctoral dissertation had an aim to examine the possibilities of encouraging and developing elements of mathematical literacy through content design, then the extent to which mathematics textbooks create the basis for its development and students' attitudes about approaching learning mathematics by solving problems from real environments. The obtained research results show that the elements of mathematical literacy can be developed in the students of the lower grades of primary school with an adequate contents. The students expressed positive attitudes towards the approach to learning mathematics through solving problems from a real environment. The analysis of the content of mathematics textbooks showed that textbooks create a good basis for developing elements of mathematical literacy, especially for the first level of mathematical literacy, while the content corresponding to the second and third levels is not sufficient. The obtained results show that the elements of mathematical literacy can be developed in students of lower school age, for which an adequate selection of content related to the real life of students is necessary.en
