S ekspanzijom distribuirane proizvodnje rastu i zahtevi za aktivnijim učešćem
u monitoringu i upravljanju elektrodistributivnim mrežama. Zbog toga problem
sledeći parametri Kalmanovog filtra: inicijalno estimirani vektor stanja, matrica
kovarijansi inicijalno estimiranog vektora stanja i matrica kovarijansi grešaka
dinamičke estimacije stanja uključena i sinhrofazorska merenja.
distributivna test sistema i na primeru realne distributivne mreže Elektroprivrede
Srbije.
Considering the fact that the expansion of distributed generation significantly affects the activities in monitoring and control of electrical distribution networks, the state estimation of distribution networks has become increasingly important in the last few years. State estimation is
static in most of the existing distribution network control centers. Distribution networks are poorly monitored, so it is required to utilize fictitious pseudo measurements in order to achieve observability of the system. Due to the domination of pseudo measurements, the state estimation
accuracy in the distribution networks is considerably lower compared to the transmission networks.
The aim of the research is to improve the accuracy of the estimates in the distribution networks in regard to the ones that can be obtained by conventional static state estimation.
In this doctoral dissertation, two Kalman filter based three-phase dynamic state estimation algorithms are developed: first order Extended... Kalman Filter - EKF and Unscented Kalman
Filter - UKF. These algorithms were developed respecting the characteristics of the unbalanced
distribution networks which require the execution of a three-phase dynamic state estimation.
Firstly, the effects of some Kalman filter parameters on the accuracy of the dynamic state
estimation are examined. The analyzed Kalman filter parameters are the following: initial state
vector, covariance matrix of initial state vector and process noise covariance matrix. In addition
to this, techniques and methods for optimal assessment of these parameters have been developed.
It has been found that the initial solution can be properly assessed using a static state
estimator. A major contribution has been made in the development of new methods for
assessment of the process noise covariance matrix. The existing methods are based on linear
observation and process models which rely on the use of Phasor Measurement Units - PMUs.
The implementation of PMUs is quite uncommon in today’s distribution networks. Therefore, it is
necessary to develop methods suitable to the actual metering infrastructure of distribution
networks.
Two new methods for assessment of the process noise covariance matrix have been
developed: the method for fixed assessment, intended for a quasi-static operation of the system,
and the method for adaptive assessment, which can be used during quasi-static operation and
under sudden load changes. The methods can be applied in distribution networks with
conventional voltage, current and active/reactive power measurements, but they can also be
successfully applied if PMUs are included in the dynamic state estimation algorithm.
An additional contribution is that the proposed methods can be used in practical applications
designed to estimate the state of real distribution networks.
It has been shown that the accuracy of the state estimation in the distribution networks
can be improved in comparison with the results obtained by the static state estimator. This can be
achieved if dynamic state estimator parameters are adequately assessed.
The proposed methods are verified on two modified IEEE distribution test systems and
on the real distribution utility feeder of Electric Power Industry of Serbia. The method for fixed
assessment is verified on the EKF and UKF dynamic state estimation algorithms. The adaptive
assessment method is verified on the EKF dynamic state estimation algorithm.
