Abstract
Skoro pola veka prošlo je od prekretnice u istraživanju nastave kada je, udaljavanjem od bihejviorističke tradicije praćenja isključivo vidljivog delovanja nastavnika u učionici i njegovog povezivanja sa postignućem učenika, fokus istraživača pomeren ka ispitivanju određenih aspekata kognicije nastavnika, koji se pre svega odnose na ono što oni misle, veruju i znaju u vezi sa podučavanjem i učenjem. U duhu danas opšteprihvaćenog stanovišta da proučavanje njihovih misaonih procesa znatno doprinosi razumevanju celokupnog nastavnog procesa i unapređenju obrazovanja i obuke budućeg nastavnog kadra, cilj istraživanja koje je pred vama jeste da ispita složenu mrežu faktora koji utiču na formiranje i razvoj pedagoških uverenja, stavova i znanja budućih i aktivnih nastavnika stranih jezika. U tu svrhu korišćen je istraživački nacrt mešovitog tipa (mixed methods design) kako bi se pomenuti konstrukti, koji nastaju kao proizvod različitih iskustava pojedinaca, ali su i društveno i kulturološki u...slovljeni, ispitali kako na grupnom nivou, fokusirajući se na makro-kontekstualne faktore poput socio-kulturnih normi, tako i kvalitativno, ističući posebnost i lične perspektive ispitanika...

Almost half a century has passed since the turning point in educational research when, moving away from the behaviourist tradition of tracking exclusively observable teacher behaviour in the classroom and linking it to pupil attainment, the focus of researchers shifted towards the investigation of certain aspects of teacher cognition, relating primarily to what they think, believe and know about learning and teaching. In line with the present-day widespread agreement that the study of their thinking processes contributes significantly to understanding teaching in general and to promoting teacher education and training, the aim of this research is to look into the complex network of factors which influence the formation and development of the pedagogical beliefs, attitudes and knowledge of pre-service and in-service foreign language teachers.
