Abstract
Predmet istraživanja ovog rada je interkulturna (jezička) kompetencija, kao i aspekti njenog uticaja na savremenu komunikativnu nastavu (nemačkog kao) L2 sa posebnim i ciljanim osvrtom na konstruisanje udžbenika. Ovo istraživanje ukazuje na već duži niz godina aktuelnu debatu o ulozi i mogućnostima interkulturne nastave kada je učenje i poučavanje (nemačkog kao) stranog jezika u pitanju. Oblikujući teorijski konstrukt kako bismo sagledali najznačajnija stanovišta u vezi sa interkulturnom (jezičkom) kompetencijom i njenim značajem u kontekstima nastave nemačkog kao stranog jezika, eksplorativno-analitičkom metodom pružamo ne samo pregled aktuelnog stanja u teoriji, već postojeća teorijska dostignuća operacionalizujemo ne bismo li stekli uvid i u aktuelno stanje u praksi. U tom smislu su nam od posebnog značaja aktuelni udžbenici za nemački kao strani jezik kao autentični predstavnici izabranih evropskih školskih sistema, ali i reprezentativni primerci različitih, u prethodnom periodu ob...javljenih didaktičkih materijala sa jasnim interkulturnim fokusom. Značajan segment teorijskog dela predstavljaju i postojeći alati za analizu i evaluaciju udžbenika i didaktičkog materijala, uz poseban osvrt na istraživanje prisutnosti interkulturnih sadržaja u istim. Jedan od zadataka koji smo ovim radom sebi postavili bilo je i formiranje kriterijuma za analizu udžbenika sa aspekta interkulturne (jezičke) kompetencije i njihovo testiranje u praksi.

The subject of this research is intercultural (language) competence as well as various aspects of its influence on modern communicative language teaching (of German as a foreign language), with special and purposeful attention to the structuring of a textbook. The research points out that the role and possibilities of intercultural education in learning and teaching German as a foreign language have been the focus of debate for quite a number of years. With the aim of laying the theoretical foundations of the research, a review of the state of the art in this field has been implemented by employing exploratory-analytical methods so as to consider the most significant views and approaches to intercultural (language) competence and its importance in teaching German as a foreign language; moreover, the views and theoretical achievements have been subjected to operational research so as to get insight into state of affairs in practice. In this sense, of special importance for us are the cu...rrent textbooks of German as a foreign language as authentic representatives of the chosen European educational systems, as well as representative samples of various previously published didactic materials with the obvious intercultural focus. A considerable segment of the theoretical part of the research is a review of existing tools for analyzing and evaluating textbooks and didactic materials, with the accent on investigating the presence of intercultural materials in them. One of the tasks of the research was the formation of criteria for textbook analysis from the point of view of intercultural (language) communication and their testing in practice.
