The management evolution theory is accelerated by more complex problems of business management and organizational design of the system, leading to new theoretical and practical approaches, form and content. Global competition from the price level and technical innovation moves towards knowledge management and innovation in management so that managers not only identify innovation in products and services, but also highlight innovations in management models, operational and control process as a factor that can bring growth and market success of the company. This work is based on undisputed knowledge that management is the most important resource for coping with change. Modeling management is a complex business, regardingly that the process of management, is inherently complex. The main objective of modeling is to help all stakeholders in the management process, to develop systems of thinking, in order to readily face the complexities in their work environments. Modeling Manag...ement enables managing affairs in a manner seen by the participants, where the jobs are viewed as a whole, and not as a set of functional parts. The integrated approach usage in the management has increased in relevant strategic decision-making, especially in the last decade of 20th century in order to improve the competitiveness of enterprises. For this purpose St. Gallen integrated management model will be presented, which was developed at the Institute of Management, University of St. Gallen, after which it was named. St. Gallen management model, as a representative of the integral management, enables the company comprehension from the perspective of organizational management, management-oriented business process, reengineering approaches and initiatives related to the integration of companies and design its system. The St. Gallen management model, the company and the environment form unity, but each individual must not blur the fact that this model is about managing the company in a complex environment. Motivated by the requirements of the environment, the model is focused on solving social problems, which are viewed in terms of organizational value creation. St. Gallen model provides a reference framework, which is based on the integration of the three dimensions of management: normative, strategic and operational, and the harmonization of strategy, structure and culture of companies. Integrated framework for all three dimensions of management is a management philosophy, which allows the creation of value for all relevant stakeholders of enterprises. Model is used as a systematic issues classification, challenges, decisions and actions in the context of management. In addition, important issues of modern relationships and interactions (resources, norms and values, risk and interest), are presented in an integrated way, in order to draw attention to managers in the observation of certain facts and their interpretation in the context of a meaningful understanding of holistic management. A holistic approach means that all vital aspects of subordinates and thus broad perspective model protects the narrow and one-sided views. The main goal is that the diversity of content is effective conceptual schemes mapping of all aspects of a holistic management. Analysis of the strategic aspects of St. Gallen management model application can help to increase the competitiveness of enterprises in Serbia with corresponding improvement in all areas of business, because the model raises the general understanding of the decisions and strategy to be implemented and helps businesses optimize the use of resources. In the basic consideration of strategic management in St. Gallen management model, lies a detection of ways, which makes possible integrating strategic and tactical decisions and directing the company potential to the business areas in which it can achieve sustainable competitive advantage.
