Uticaji moralizatorskih tema i školske drame na evropsku likovnu umetnost XVII i XVIII veka

Abstract

Autor prepoznaje i prati zajedničke imenitelje baroknog stila na fenomenološkom nivou sadržaja povezujući likovnu i pozorišnu umetnost u jednu konceptualnu celinu. Potvrdu ideje uzajamnosti traži i proverava u moralizatorskim sižeima prisutnim u zidnom slikarstvu i grafici, sholastičkoj poeziji i propovedništvu, kao i u dramskoj literaturi i scenografiji posebnog žanra školskog pozorišta. Identični repertoar tema obuhvata istovetne atribute – simbole i ambleme, univerzalne i objedinjujuće elemente manirističke i barokne vizuelne kulture, ikonografski određene pod uticajem ideja post-tridentske religioznosti i posredstvom zapadnoevropskih grafičkih predložaka usvojenie i u zemljama istočnoslovenskog pravoslavlja, kao i među Srbima na području Karlovačke mitropolije. Uz poznate biblijske teme – starozavetne scene i jevanđeoske parabole, teološke vrline i ambleme etičkih vrednosti, razmatraju se i posebni narativi odabrani iz materijala srpske barokne umetnosti. Analizu elemenata zajedničkih slici i tekstu prate tumačenja složenog alegorijsko-amblematskog sadržaja i moralizatorsko-didaktičkog značenja predstava bazirana na teorijskim i doktrinarnim postulatima barokne poetike.

The author identifies and traces common denominators of the Baroque style at the phenomenological level of the subject-matter and unites fine arts and theatre into a conceptual whole. She seeks to establish and confirm the idea of reciprocity through an analysis of moralizing subjects that can be found in mural painting and graphic art, scholastic poetry and preaching, drama texts and scenography of the school theatre as a specific genre. Identical repertoire of themes include the identical attributes – symbols and emblems, universal and unifying elements of Mannerist and Baroque visual cultures, whose iconography was defined under the influence of the ideas of the Reformation, i.e. the ideas of post-Tridentine religiosity, and adopted through Western European engraving templates in East Slavic Orthodox countries, as well as among the Serbs from the Metropolitanate of Karlovci. Along with familiar biblical themes – Old Testament scenes and Gospel parables, depictions of theological virtues and emblems of ethical standards, specific narratives selected from the corpus of Serbian Baroque art are also discussed. The analysis of elements common to image and text is accompanied with interpretations of complex allegorically emblematic content and moralizing and didactic meanings of images based on theoretical and doctrinal postulates of the Baroque poetics.
