Abstract
Savremeno rudarstvo izloženo je stalnom trendu pogoršanja uslova poslovanja. Mogućnost ostvarenja ekonomskih i drugih ciljeva rudarskog projekta kompromitovana je stalnim pogoršanjem kvaliteta ležišta na kojima se vrši eksploatacija, kao i značajnoj dozi neizvesnosti povezane sa geološkim, ekonomskim i tehničkim parametrima proizvodnje. U ovako kompleksnim uslovima poslovanja, matematički modeli sposobni da odgovore značajnim izazovima, odnosno ponude optimalna rešenja kojima se garantuje maksimalno ispunjenje projektovanih ciljeva, nameću se kao neophodnost. Trenutni, konvencionalni pristup optimizaciji i planiranju površinskih kopova zasniva se na algoritmima, razvijenim sredinom prošlog veka čije je opšte obeležje deterministički pristup prilikom usvajanja relevantnih ulaznih parametara. U protekle dve decenije, kao ozbiljna alternativa detemnističkom pristupu nameće se primena stohastičkih modela. Mnogobrojni rezultati naučnog rada, snažno sugerišu da stohastički matematički modeli... znatno bolje opisuju prirodu savremenog rudarstva i predstavljaju alternativu sposobnu da ponudi bolja rešenja. U istraživanju predstavljenom u ovom radu, analizara se upotreba stohastičkih matematičkih modela, u procesima planiranja i optimizacije na površinskim kopovima. Cilj disertacije, je da se naučnim metodama, dokažu prednosti implemantacije stohastičkog ili kombinovanog (hibridnog) stohastičkog i determinističkog pristupa nad čisto determinističkim (konvencionalno prihvaćenom) pristupom. Praktičan doprinos istraživanja predstavljaju dva razvijena modela. Prvi model, zasniva se na genetskom algoritmu i tretira problem planiranja proizvodnje na površinskom kopu lignita. Drugi razvijeni model je hibridnog tipa, sadrži stohastičku (Monte Karlo metoda) i determinističku komponentu i tretira problem optimizacije granica kopa.

Contemporary mining has constant declining trend in business conditions. Achievement possibilities of economic and other goals of mining projects are being compromised by constant deposit deterioration where exploitation is being held, as well as a significant dose of uncertainty associated with geological, economic and technical parameters of production. In such complex business conditions, mathematical models, able to respond on significant challenges, i.e. to offer optimal solutions which shall guarantee maximal fulfillment of projected goals, are considered to be necessity. Current, conventional approach to optimization and planning of open pits is based on algorithms which have been developed during the mid of the last century. Their main characteristics is deterministic approach during adoption of relevant input parameters. In last two decades, adoption of stochastic models is considered to be serious alternative. Numerous results of scientific work strongly suggest that stochast...ic mathematical models significantly better describe the nature of contemporary mining, and represent alternative capable of offering better solutions. In planning processes and optimization of open pits, usage of stochastic mathematical models is analyzed in the research that is represented by this dissertation. The aim of the dissertation is to prove the advantages of implementations of stochastic or combined (hybrid) stochastic and deterministic approach over a purely deterministic (conventionally accepted) approach. Two developed models represent practical contribution of the research. First model is based on genetic algorithm and it is dealing with the problem of production planning on the lignite open pit. Second model that is being developed is hybrid type. It has stochastic (Monte Carlo method) and deterministic component and treats the problem of optimization of open pit boundaries.
