Финансијска интеграција Европске уније и њен утицај на финансијско тржиште Србије

Abstract

Предмет истраживања у овој докторској дисертацији је финансијска интеграција Европске уније и њен утицај на финансијско тржиште Србије. Истраживање обухвата анализу теорија интеграције, механизама интеграције у Економској и монетарној унији, као и истраживање канала утицаја интегрисаног тржишта на финансијско тржиште Србије. Теорија финансијске интеграције у моделском облику показује факторе који утичу на опредељење две или више земаља да интегришу своја финансијска тржишта, односно колико је процес интеграције резултат економске принуде или политичких одлука. Размотрене су поставке гравитационе, функционалне и институционалне теорије. Овај аспект анализе односи се и на објашњење условљености финансијске интеграције обимом интеграције реалног сектора привреде. Ова условљеност не искључује могућност да се финансијско тржиште посматра као самосталан тржишни систем, који може деловати на процес интеграције реалног сектора. Истраживање интеграционих механизама Економске и монетарне уније показало је процес формирања јединственог финансијског тржишта Европске уније, као и регулаторних вредносних показатеља на нивоу интегрисаног тржишта. Овај сегмент истраживања изложен је кроз аналитичку дескрипцију тржишних и регулаторних процеса који су обликовали финансијску интеграцију Европске уније.

This doctoral thesis examines the financial integration of the European Union and its impact on the Serbian financial market. It presents analyses of integration theories and integration mechanisms of the EU Economic and Monetary Union, and also considers the channels whereby the EU single market affects Serbia’s financial market. Theoretical models of financial integration were used to identify factors that affect the readiness of two or more countries to integrate their financial markets, as well as the extent to which the integration process is the result of economic compulsion or political decisions. Postulates of gravity, functional, and institutional theories were considered. This aspect of the analysis also explains how financial integration is conditioned by the breadth of integration of the real sector. In spite of this conditionality, however, the financial market can still be viewed as an independent market system that can have a feedback effect on integration processes in the real sector. An examination of integration mechanisms of the EU Economic and Monetary Union revealed the process by which the EU single financial market was established, as well as the regulatory value indicators at the level of the single market. This segment of the study is presented through an analytical description of market and regulatory processes that have shaped financial integration in the European Union. Monetary integration of the European Union and the introduction of the euro have contributed to greater financial integration.
