UVOD
Afektivni temperament (AT)
kontrolnom pregledu.
MATERIJAL I METODE
štitaste žlezde i bolesti metabolizma „Zlatibor“.
U istraživanju smo koristili socio...demografski upitnik, skale
TEMPS-A, DASS i 4DSQ.
REZULTATI
sa kontrolnom grupom u ciklotimičnom AT. Postoji povezanost depresivnog,
Introduction
Hashimoto's thyroiditis (HT) is the most common autoimmune disease that causes
hypothyroidism and can affect mood disorders. Affective temperament (AT) is a biologically
determined, stable personality trait that can describe sensitivity to mood disorders. The aim of
the study was то determine and compare the dominant AT in patients with HT with their
healthy closest relatives and with the control group, as well as the association between their
AT and psychosomatic symptoms at the beginning of the disease and at the follow-up
examination.
Materials and methods
An observational case-control study was conducted at the Special Hospital for Thyroid
Diseases and Metabolic Diseases "Zlatibor". In the study were included 214 subjects, 70 newly
diagnosed patients with HT, of which 53 with hypothyroid and 17 with euthyroid HT, then 74
of their healthy closest relatives and 70 subjects of the control, healthy group. In the research,
we used a sociodemographic questionnaire, TEMPS-A, ...DASS and 4DSQ scales.
Results
The dominant style of AT in patients with HT is hyperthymic. There is a difference between
all styles of AT in women with HT and their closest relatives, while there is a significant
difference with the control group in cyclothymic AT. There is an association of depressive,
cyclothymic and anxious-congitive AT with psychosomatic symptoms in women with HT. We
confirmed that there is an improvement in psychosomatic symptoms at the follow-up
examination in patients with HT.
Conclusions
There is a different association of dominant AT with psychosomatic symptoms in women with
hypothyroid or euthyroid HT compared to their relatives and the control group. It is necessary
to focus attention on women with HT because they are burdened with psychosomatic
symptoms.
