Predmet istraživanja doktorske disertacije su bunari sa horizontalnim drenovima beogradskog izvorišta podzemnih voda, drugog najvećeg izvorišta ovog tipa na svetu, čiji je režim rada opterećen procesima intenzivnog starenja prisutnog od samog početka formiranja izvorišta, početkom 1950‒ih godina. Istraživanja sprovedena u okviru izrade disertacije su imala za cilj definisanje nove metodologije izučavanja procesa mehaničkog i biohemijskog kolmiranja drenova izradom detaljnih 3D numeričkih hidrodinamičkih modela, upotrebom postojećih, dostupnih i široko rasprostranjenih računarskih programa. Istraživanja su realizovana simulacijom ostvarenog režima podzemnih voda 15‒godišnjeg trajanja na formiranom modelu, na kojem su bunari, zajedno sa mehanizmom zahvatanja podzemnih voda, predstavljeni geometrijski, konstruktivno i hidraulički realno, dok su drenovi simulirani upotrebom matematičkog (numeričkog) graničnog uslova treće vrste i hidrodinamičkog uslova „dren“. Hidrodinamička istraživanja su rezultirala predlogom optimalne, hidraulički reprezentativne i hidrodinamički efikasne metodologije definisanja aktuelne vodozahvatne sposobnosti drenova putem kvantifikovanja vrednosti hidrauličkih karakteristika drenova, kao i dinamike razvoja procesa starenja praćenjem promena vrednosti koeficijenta propusnosti prifilterske zone drenova tokom vremena rada bunara. Na osnovu rezultata hidrodinamičke analize, date su preporuke optimalnog stepena diskretizacije vremena za simulaciju režima izdani i prostora modela u užoj zoni bunara sa horizontalnim drenovima. Simulacija rada grupe hidraulički realno simuliranih bunara je izvršena u uslovima optimalnog kapaciteta drenova, definisanog uz uvažavanje kriterijuma biohemijskog kolmiranja i resursa podzemnih voda na lokaciji bunara.sr
The research presented in this Doctoral Dissertation focuses on radial collector wells at Belgrade well field, the second largest public water supply source of this type in the world, whose operation has been impacted by intensive well ageing processes since the well field's development began in the early 1950's. The objective of the research conducted within the scope of the Dissertation was to define novel methodologies for studying mechanical and biochemical clogging of radial collector well laterals through detailed 3D numerical hydrodynamic modeling by means of existing, accessible, and widely used computer programs. The groundwater dynamics observed over a 15‒year period were simulated on the model. The wells, along with their groundwater extraction mechanism, were represented in real geometric, structural, and hydraulic terms, whereas the laterals were simulated using a mathematical (numerical) boundary condition of the third type and the hydrodynamic condition "lateral". The hydrodynamic investigations resulted in a proposal of an optimal, hydraulically representative, and hydrodynamically efficient methodology for defining the current groundwater extraction capacity of the laterals by quantifying the hydraulic properties of the laterals and the rate of advance of ageing processes by monitoring the change in the coefficient of leakage of the near-lateral zone while the wells are in operation. The results of the hydrodynamic analysis served as a basis for recommending the optimal level of time discretization for simulating the dynamics of the aquifer and the area of the model covering the immediate zone of the radial collector wells. The operation of a group of wells represented in real hydraulic terms was simulated under the conditions of optimal capacities of the laterals, which were defined applying criteria relating to biochemical clogging and the groundwater resource at the well field.en
