Малограђанин у романима Дошљаци Милутина Ускоковића, Госпођица Иве Андрића и Ходочашћe Арсенија Његована Борислава Пекића

Abstract

У раду се разматрају књижевнотеоријске импликације приказивања малограђанина у српском роману ХХ века. На трагу савремене теорије романа Франка Моретија, али и неких класичних студија овог жанра, као што је она Ђерђа Лукача, полази се од тезе да је нестабилан класни положај, положај у средини, од пресудне важности за разумевање малограђанина и његове свести, чије су главне карактеристике изразита партикуларност и потреба да се хармонизују постојеће друштвеноисторијске противречности. Тежња ка хармонизацији света око себе како би се сачували партикуларни интереси и заштитио или унапредио класни положај основна је карактеристика малограђана којим се и у овом раду бавимо на примерима романа: Дошљаци Милутина Ускоковића, Госпођица Иве Андрића и Ходочашће Арсенија Његована Борислава Пекића. Пажња коју су досадашња истраживања поклањала анализи одређених психолошких карактеристика или инхерентној моралности ликова преусмерена је на системске контрадикције карактеристичне за грађанско друштво и специфичну класну позицију малограђанина у њему. У том смислу, романескни свет посматраних романа показује се као систем с одређеном логиком функционисања чије су последице видљиве и кроз односе међу ликовима, њихову карактеризацију, мотивацију и сâм језик. Сврха овог рада је да анализирајући књижевноуметничку транспозицију малограђанина формулише ново читање романа који ужувају статус класика модерне српске књижевности као и да понуди један могући аналитички апарат за приступ проблему књижевноуметничког обликовања малограђанина у српском роману ХХ века.

The paper discusses the theoretical-literary implications of the depiction of a petit bourgeois citizen in Serbian novels of the 20th century. Following the contemporary theoretical analysis of novels by Franco Moretti, as well as some classical studies of this genre, such as those of György Lukács, the starting point is the thesis that an unstable class position, a position in the middle, is of crucial importance for the understanding of the petite bourgeoisie and their consciousness, whose primary characteristic is the need for uniqueness and a constant desire to harmonise the existing socio-historical contradictions. The desire to harmonize the world around them, to preserve only certain interests, and protect or improve their class position is the basic characteristic of all petit bourgeois, which we also deal with in this work using the examples of the novels: “The Newcomers” by Milutin Uskoković, “The Woman from Sarajevo” by Ivo Andrić, and “The Houses of Belgrade” by Borislav Pekić. The attention that previous research has paid to the analysis of certain psychological characteristics, or the inherent morality of the characters has been redirected to the systemic contradictions that are typical of bourgeois society and the specific class position of the petite bourgeoisie in it. In this sense, the novelistic world of the observed novels is shown to be a system with a certain functioning logic, the consequences of which are also visible through the relationships between the characters, their characterization, motivation, and the language itself. The purpose of this paper is to analyse the literary transposition of the petite bourgeoisie to formulate a new reading of novels that enjoy the status of classics of modern Serbian literature, as well as to offer a possible analytical apparatus for approaching the problem of literary shaping of the petite bourgeoisie in Serbian novels of the 20th century.
