The subject of the research is funded on two levels. At the first level, the gradual transformation of the media and the evolution of information and communication systems are described, from the forerunner of newspapers, the Roman wall proclamations Acta Diurna until possible further transformation - holographic media. The transformation and evolution of the media has been described through key historical moments and epochs of media development, with lesser known non-commercial media, such as radio faximil, Telphone Hirmondo, Viewtron technology of the 1980s, Tablet Newspaper, etc. Based on the description of conceptual, and partly so far known serial technological innovations, the paper describes the possible further development of the media in the next two decades. The author sees a further direction of media transformation in connecting digital technologies and the Internet with hologram technology, virtual reality and new generations of mobile networks, like 6G, 7G etc. standards.... On the concepts of already known patents Microsoft HoloLens, Apple iGlass, Google AR Lens, the author describes possibility of media application and further evolution based on smart glasses, VR (Virtual Reality) helmet, in a way that we will use media in the future as holographic windows projected via holographic sensor built into a smartphone, smartwatch, smart glasses or laptop. At the second level of research aim, the author emphasizes the importance of information entropy, a term bassicaly known from physics and cybernetics, written by Norbert Wiener, in sense of large amount of informations and news created by Internet flow, which creates a false sense of good informing based on the number of daily received and read informations. The author finds a theoretical basis for this standpoint in the writings of Francois Le Coadic, Norbert Wiener and Alvin Toffler, who wrote about the "information overload" back in the 1970s. In the modern theory of media and information, Eli Pariser's theory of "Echo chambers" is also marked, as a uniform circle of information to which Internet users are exposed as a consequence of the information economy. In addition to the theoretical framework, the author re-actualizes and reconceptualizes some of the most significant media theories and studies on a theoretical-empirical basis, such as Lev Manovich's study of new media, Marshall McLuhan's technological determinism, and Roger Fiedler's study of media transformation. Based on a case study, multiple analyzes of content and questionnaire realized on the student population, the author scrutinizes media phenomena, and media theories set in the age of analog media puts in the context of digital media offering a new theoretical framework for understanding modern media, media persuasion, manipulation, informing in modern era, but also in the foreseeable future.
