Citatna analiza kao metoda vrednovanja naučnog rada istraživača iz Srbije u periodu od 2000. do 2016. godine

Abstract

Naukometrija (engl. Scientometrics) predstavlja primenjenu nauku koja se bavi analizom nauke i njenim vrednovanjem a delimično se preklapa sa pojmovima kao što su bibliometrija i infometrija. Naukometrija se za razliku od bibliometrije i infometrije bavi procenom prave, suštinske naučne literature i njenog značaja što je bitnije nego odjek naučnih publikacija i metričke metode. Dakle, deo naukometrije je bibliometrija koja se prvenstveno bavi kvantitativnim izučavanjem pisanih naučnih dostignuća i predstavlja nauku koja ima vrlo određene ciljeve i metode, zasnovane uglavnom na statistici i matematičkim modelima. U bibliometriji se primenjuju tri zakona: Lotkin, Bredfordov i Zipfov. Navedeni zakoni, njihove primene i rasprave o njima kao i sama oblast bibliometrije biće detaljno predstavljeni u disertaciji. Nasuprot tome, fokus bibliometrije, uprkos brojnim i raznovrsnim definicijama, bio je zasnovan pretežno na literaturi za nauku i studije dok je, za naukometričare bilo interesantnije merenje i analiza završnih rezultata literature za nauku i tehnologiju...

Scientometrics is an applied science that deals with the analysis of science and its evaluation and partly overlaps with terms such as bibliometrics and infometrics. In contrast to bibliometrics and infometrics, scientometrics is concerned with the assessment of true, essential scientific literature and its significance, which is more important than the echo of scientific publications and metric methods. Furthermore, bibliometrics is a part of scientometrics that primarily deals with the quantitative analysis of scientific papers and represents a science that has very specific goals and methods, based mainly on statistics and mathematical models. Three laws are applied in bibliometrics: Lotka's Law, Bradford's Law, and Zipf's Law. These laws, their applications and discussions about them, as well as the field of bibliometrics itself, shall be presented in detail in this dissertation.
