Abstract

The researchers support the assumption that subjects in the questionnaires that measure the sensitivity to anxiety are grouped into three lower order factors and one higher order factor. Most of the irregularities in the questionnaires were corrected before designing the ASI-3 inventory. Objective: The selection of ASI-3 questionnaire operations was performed on the basis of apiorial theoretical analysis. Guided by the same starting basis, the goal of the work is to construct the OnA inventory (from ASI / ASI-R), guided by the procedure of retention of items, strictly on the basis of statistical-psychometric criteria. Method: The sample consisted of 420 respondents, members of the clinical and non-clinical population. The validity and psychometric characteristics of both questionnaires were compared and validated. Results: Configuration Factor Analysis (CFA) ASI-3 and Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) from the ASI / ASI-R area indicate that the best fit has a bifactor model, with one g...eneral factor and three domains specific factors. The results of the analysis based on the response rate theory (IRT) indicate that both inventories are adapted to respondents with a mean and over-average level of latent character. Correlation-regression analysis points to the conclusion on the good incremental validity of ASI-3 and OnA questionnaires. Significance: This is the first choice of items included in the questionnaire operationalization of the sensitivity to anxiety construct, which is based on empirical statistical criteria
