Određivanje parametara fiziološkog statusa novorođene teladi poreklom od majki izloženih toplotnom stresu tokom kasnog graviditeta

Abstract
Prema dosadašnjim literaturnim podacima, pretpostavlja se da toplotni stres u poslednjim nedeljama graviditeta može negativno da utiče na intrauterini razvoj ploda dovodeći do rađanja slabo vitalne teladi, kao i do slabijeg prepartalnog razvoja mlečne žlezde, što nepovoljno utiče na kvalitet kolostruma. Cilj ove doktorske disertacije bio je da se utvrdi da li izloženost majki tokom graviditeta toplotnom stresu ima negativan uticaj na vitalnost novorođene teladi kao i na sastav kolostruma, koji je osnovni izvor nutrijenata za novorođenu telad. Ogled je izveden tokom sezone niskih (LAT sezona) i visokih temperatura vazduha (HAT sezona). Za ogled je odabrano 20 teladi holštajn rase. Prva grupa je obuhvatala 10 teladi poreklom od majki koje su period kasnog graviditeta iznele u LAT sezoni (LAT telad), dok je druga grupa obuhvatala 10 teladi poreklom od majki koje su bile izložene HAT sezoni tokom perioda kasnog graviditeta (HAT telad). Temperatura vazduha i relativna vlažnost vazduha, kori...štene za izračunavanje temperaturno-humidnog indeksa (THI), merene su svakog sata od strane Hidrometeorološkog zavoda Srbije. Uzorci kolostruma (prvi, drugi i treći kolostrum) uzorkovani su od svake majke tokom HAT i LAT sezone neposredno pred hranjenje teladi. Krv od majki je uzorkovana punkcijom v. jugularis odmah nakon porođaja. Krv za određivanje koncentracije biohemijskih parametara, hormona, minerala i parametara oksidativnog stresa kod teladi uzorkovana je punkcijom v. jugularis odmah po rođenju, pre ingestije kolostruma (dan 0) i 1, 2, 3. i 7. dana života teleta. Telad obe grupe podvrgnuta su intravenskom testu tolerancije glukoze (IVGTT) sedmog dana starosti. Uzorci krvi za određivanje koncentracija glukoze i insulina su uzeti naposredno pre početka infuzije glukoze (min 0), kao i 4, 8, 12, 18, 25, 35. i 60. minuta nakon početka infuzije glukoze. Sastav i kvalitet kolostruma krava koje su bile izložene toplotnom stresu tokom kasnog graviditeta bio je značajno promenjen u smislu smanjenja koncentracije 6 najznačajnijih hemijskih komponenti, što je, zajedno sa odsustvom optimalne spoljašnje temperature za telad, izazvalo slabljenje fizioloških, metaboličkih i endokrinih performansi kod sedmodnevne teladi...

According to the current literature data, it is assumed that heat stress during the late gestation might negatively affects intrauterine fetal development, thus causing the birth of weakened calves, as well as impaired prenatal mamary gland development, which negatively affects the quality of the colostrum. The aim of this dissertation was to examine whether the exposure of late gestation dams to heat stress has negative impact on the vitality of newborn calves, as well as on the composition of colostrum which is the main source of nutritients for newborn calves. The experiment was conducted during the season of low (LAT season) and high air temperatures (HAT season). Twenty Holstein calves were assigned for the study. The first group included 10 calves from dams who had carried out their late gestation during the LAT season (LAT calves). The second group included 10 calves from dams exposed to HAT season during the late gestation (HAT calves). The air temperature and relative humidity..., used for temperature-humidity index (THI) calculations, were measured every hour at the Republic Hydro-meteorological Service of Serbia. Colostrum samples (primary, secondary and tertiary) were sampled from each dam during HAT and LAT season, immediately before calves’ feeding. Blood samples from dams were obtained from v. jugularis puncture immediately after the parturition. Blood used for determining of concentration of biochemical parameters, oxidative stress parameters, hormones and minerals was sampled from v. jugularis immediately after birth, before colostrum intake (day 0), and on days 1, 2, 3, and 7 of neonatal life. Calves from both groups were subjected to the intravenous glucose tolerance test 8 (IVGTT) on the day 7 of age. Blood samples for determination of glucose and insulin levels were taken immediately before glucose infusion (min 0), as well as at minutes: 4, 8, 12, 18, 25, 35, 45, and 60 after the infusion...
