Abstract
Prikazom klasifikacije različitih pozicija žrtvi u delima Margaret Etvud, izvršili smo analizu međusobnih odnosa likova koji zauzimaju različite pozicije žrtve, kao i analizu konkretnih predloga koje Etvudova iznosi za prevazilaženje te pozicije. U uvodnom delu rada definišemo pojam žrtve i opisujemo četiri različite kategorije žrtve koje je Margaret Etvud definisala u svojoj kritičkoj studiji Opstanak. Ovu klasifikaciju ćemo primenjivati kroz dalju analizu Etvudovih romana i kratkih priča, svrstavaćemo likove u određenu kategoriju žrtve, sa posebnim akcentom na definisanje pozicije kreativne nežrtve i načinima prevazilaženja pozicije ţrtve...
By showing the classification of the various victim positions in Margaret Atwood‟s works, we will analyse the interrelatedness of various characters that fill the victim positions, as well as the specific suggestions Atwood supplies for approaching and overcoming those positions. In the introductory section of this thesis we will define the notion of victimhood and describe the four categories of victimhood that Margaret Atwood defined in her critical study Survival. We will apply this classification throughout our subsequent analysis of Atwood‟s novels and short stories and classify the individual characters into the appropriate victim category, paying special attention to defining the position of a creative non-victim and ways to overcome the position of a victim...
