Abstract
Abstract: The main goal of biocompatible metallic materials development is improvement of implants’ characteristics in order to obtain functioning of implants in human body without harmful effects, prolongation of implants’ working life with no needs for surgical revision and improvement of patients’ life quality. Having that in mind, the purpose of this doctoral dissertation was to review, by multidisciplinary approach, biocompatibility and corrosion resistance of titanium based materials obtained by conventional processing methods in conditions that simulate oral environment, as well as development of new series of biocompatible titanium based materials enhanced characteristics for application in oral implantology...
