n = 10). Ispitanici su u grupe podeljeni metodom slučajnog uzorka. Svim ispitanicima je
merena visina tela (VT), masa tela (MT).
pomeranja segmenata tela u prostoru; merenje maksimalnih sila određenih grupa mišića;
brachii, m. triceps brachii, m. biceps femoris, m. quadriceps femoris)...
Ability to demonstrate maximum movement velocity (Vmax) in humans represents
a very important factor for timely realization of important kinetic tasks in sports, on the
job, and in many everyday activities. It is a well-known fact that numerous factors affect
both expression and assessment of the maximum movement velocity. What can be
noticed, is that there have been some inconsistencies in up-to-date findings, together with
some unexamined impacts certain factors have on the movement velocity. Regarding that
matter, several goals were set relating both to expression and manners of improvement of
the Vmax of discrete movements for two possibly important factors: resistance type
relating to strength improvement, consequentially having the influence on force-velocity
relation, and competence that primarily refers to discrete movement performance
technique. Goals were as follows: (i) to test which resistance type has the biggest effect
on the Vmax of the given discrete movement; (ii) to t...est the influence the resistance has on
the expression of Vmax, length and duration of the movement of certain body segments,
specific for the given discrete movement; (iii) test the influence of the resistance type on
the expression of Fmax and RFDmax muscles under isometric conditions; (iv) test which
resistance type has the biggest influence on the Fmax of certain muscle groups at CMC in
participants under isometric conditions; (v) test the influence on certain variables and
determine their connection;
The first experiment encompassed thirty high school students, aged 16 – 17 years,
divided into three groups, depending on the resistance type used in the training process:
Group 1 (participants performed their trainings without additional resistance, n = 10),
Group 2 (participants performed their trainings with the application of elastic resistance
as a form of outer load, n = 10), Group 3 (participants performed their trainings using
dumbbells, n = 10). Participants were divided into groups using random sampling method.
Body height and (BH), body mass (BM) of all participants were measured. Measurings
were done twice, i.e.: initially, before the six – weeks training process started, and
encompassed the measuring of maximal velocity of the given discrete movement (reverse
jab) recorded by 3D cameras specially designed to capture the movement of body parts
in space; measuring of maximal forces of certain muscle groups; expression of certain
muscle group’s maximal force in successive maximal contractions in a chair that is
designed to measure isolated muscle groups (m. biceps brachii, m. triceps brachii, m.
biceps femoris, m. quadriceps femoris)...
