Predmet disertacije je ispitivanje perifrastičkih glagola kao imanentnih
karakteristika publicističkog, administrativnog i naučnog, tj. specijalnih stilova
srpskog jezika, podrazumevajući tri cilja: opis strukturno-semantičkih i
funkcionalnih osobenosti, te funkcionalnostilske reparticije.
Analizu čine metode: strukturalno-deskriptivna, semantička interpretacija
i supstitucija, te transformacioni test i korpusna analiza. Opis građe bazira se na
kriterijumima, grupisanim prema ciljevima – a) strukturno-semantički i
morfosintaksički, kriterijum interpretacije; b) interpretativni, strukturno-
gramatički i stilistički; 3) funkcionalnostilski, kriterijum žanra i stepen
resemantizacije. Korpus od preko 100 naslova determinisan je specijalnim
stilovima. Ključni pojam izvodi se kao perifrastički glagol (glagol – ne samo glagol
u funkciji predikata; perifrastički – ne opisni, već gramatikalizovani oblik).
U analizi strukturno-semantičih karakteristika razmatraju se tipovi
konstrukcija (kopula...tivni biti / semikopulativni glagoli), uz opis (predloško-
)padežnih konstrukcija (deverbativne, deadjektivne i neizvedene imenice), te pitanje
reverbalizacije. U analizi funkcionalnog aspekta tumači se mogućnost
interpretacije glagola i odnos prema frazeologizmima, uz izdvajanje gramatičkih –
(kompenzatori – tvorbena, semantička, sintaksička i pragmatička ograničenja:
nepostojanje glagola, postojanje neistokorenskog glagola i nesinonimičnost) – i
stilističkih faktora, pri čemu prvi ukazuju na frazeologizaciju, sužavanje značenja,
pasivizaciju, pluralizaciju itd., a drugi na intelektualizaciju, eufemizaciju,
apstraktnost, slikovitost itd. U analizi funkcionalnostilske reparticije
promatraju se upotreba glagola u stilovima, odlike žanra, podstila i stila, uz
zaključak da leksikalizacija i desemantizacija nije uvek ista.
The subject of the dissertation is the study of periphrastic verbs as immanent
characteristics of journalistic, administrative and scientific, i.e. of special styles of the Serbian
language, entailing three goals: the description of structural-semantic and functional
peculiarities, and functional repartition.
The analysis consists of the following methods: structural-descriptive, semantic
interpretation and substitution, as well as transformation test and corpus analysis. The
description of the corpora is based on certain criteria, grouped according to the following
goals – a) structural-semantic and morphosyntactic, interpretation criteria; b) interpretive,
structural-grammatical and stylistic; 3) functional, genre criterion and degree of
resemantization. The corpus of over 100 titles is determined by special styles. The key term is
derived as a periphrastic verb (verb – not only a verb in the function of a predicate;
periphrastic – not a descriptive, but a grammaticalized form).
In t...he analysis of structural-semantic characteristics, the types of constructions
(copulative to be / semi-copulative verbs) are considered, along with the description of
(prepositional-)case constructions (deverbative, deajectival and non-derivative nouns), and
the issue of reverbalization. In the analysis of the functional aspect, the possibility of verb
interpretation and the relationship to phraseologisms are interpreted, with two factors being
singled out: grammatical – (compensators – derivative, semantic, syntactic and pragmatic
limitations: the absence of a verb, the existence of a verb without the same root, the existence
of a non-synonymous verb) – and stylistic, with the former indicating phraseologisation,
narrowing of meaning, passivization, pluralization, etc., and the latter indicating
intellectualization, euphemization, abstraction, picturesqueness, etc. In the analysis of
functional repartition, the use of verbs in styles, features of genre, substyle and style are
investigated, with the conclusion that lexicalization and desemanticization are not always the
same.
