Принцип негирања као метод израде уметничког дела – апофатика и негативна светлост

Abstract

Докторски уметнички пројекат Принцип негирања као метод израде уметничког дела – апофатика и негативна светлост бави се истраживањем светлости као основног елемента ликовних радова. Окосницу пројекта представља испитивање негативног светла, као засебног принципа стварања уметничких радова; негативно светло је видљивост која припада тамним партијама ликовних радова и изнутра руководи њиховом организацијом. Уметничка дела настала у пројекту конституисана су укрштањем обичног и негативног светла. Негативно светло у ликовне радове уводи се путем уметничког метода - принципа негирања. Принцип негирања подразумева поступак израде дела отклањањем и негирањем његових ликовних елемената, што је супротно уобичајеном поступку креације наношењем и тврђењем. Принцип негирања комплементаран је методу апофатичке теологије, па је коначни метод пројекта апофатичко-уметнички метод, настао преплитањем теоријског модела мишљења и уметничких поступака. Увођење негативног светла у ликовне радове покренуло је низ питања о смислу и оквирима ликовног стварања. Та перспектива у раду је означена као проблем негативне светлости, значењске стране негативног светла. Проблем негативне светлости уже је усмерен ка поетичком извору стварања уметности, па се у пројекту испитује као проблем порекла уметничког дела. Цртежи, слике и видео-рад су, тако, израђени применом апофатичко-уметничког метода, који омогућава да се они иманентно организују и самопројаве. Резултат истраживања показује могућност ликовног приказивања негативног светла, оправданост превођења теоријског модела мишљења на поступак уметничког стварања и значај рефлексије уметничког стварања остварене методским средствима. Писано образложење докторског уметничког пројекта прати креативноистраживачки процес и нуди његову интерпретацију. Интерпретација прве фазе процеса значајно је утицала на осмишљавање друге фазе, па су стога радови и тумачење интегрално повезани. Поред уметничких, теоријски резултати пројекта указују на могућност изградње теорије о уметности полазећи од уметничког стварања.

Okosnicu projekta predstavlja ispitivanje negativnog svetla, kao zasebnog principa stvaranja umetničkih radova; negativno svetlo je vidljivost koja pripada tamnim partijama likovnih radova i iznutra rukovodi njihovom organizacijom. Umetnička dela nastala u projektu konstituisana su ukrštanjem običnog i negativnog svetla. Negativno svetlo u likovne radove uvodi se putem umetničkog metoda - principa negiranja. Princip negiranja podrazumeva postupak izrade dela otklanjanjem i negiranjem njegovih likovnih elemenata, što je suprotno uobičajenom postupku kreacije nanošenjem i tvrđenjem. Princip negiranja komplementaran je metodu apofatičke teologije, pa je konačni metod projekta apofatičko-umetnički metod, nastao preplitanjem teorijskog modela mišljenja i umetničkih postupaka. Uvođenje negativnog svetla u likovne radove pokrenulo je niz pitanja o smislu i okvirima likovnog stvaranja. Ta perspektiva u radu je označena kao problem negativne svetlosti, značenjske strane negativnog svetla. Problem negativne svetlosti uže je usmeren ka poetičkom izvoru stvaranja umetnosti, pa se u projektu ispituje kao problem porekla umetničkog dela. Crteži, slike i video-rad su, tako, izrađeni primenom apofatičko-umetničkog metoda, koji omogućava da se oni imanentno organizuju i samoprojave. Rezultat istraživanja pokazuje mogućnost likovnog prikazivanja negativnog svetla, opravdanost prevođenja teorijskog modela mišljenja na postupak umetničkog stvaranja i značaj refleksije umetničkog stvaranja ostvarene metodskim sredstvima. Pisano obrazloženje doktorskog umetničkog projekta prati kreativnoistraživački proces i nudi njegovu interpretaciju. Interpretacija prve faze procesa značajno je uticala na osmišljavanje druge faze, pa su stoga radovi i tumačenje integralno povezani. Pored umetničkih, teorijski rezultati projekta ukazuju na mogućnost izgradnje teorije o umetnosti polazeći od umetničkog stvaranja.

Doctoral art project The Principle of Negation as the Method of Artwork Creation – Apophatics and Negative Light investigates the light as one of the basic elements of visual arts. The focus of the project is the inquiry of the negative light, which is an autonomous principle of artwork creation. Negative light is the inner visibility of the dark areas of artworks, immanently governing their constitution. The artworks created in this project are organized by the intersection of the ordinary and the negative light. Negative light is introduced to the artworks through the artistic method – the principle of negation. The principle of negation means the creation of artworks by removing and negating, instead of application and assertion, typical of the usual manner of making artworks. The principle of negation is complementary with the method of apophatic theology. Therefore, the method of doctoral art project is the apophaticartistic method, which came to be through the interweaving of theoretical model of thinking and artistic procedures. The introduction of negative light in artworks provoked a number of questions regarding the meaning and possibilities of artistic creation. In the project, such perspective is marked as the problem of negative lightness, the meaning of the negative light. The problem of negative lightness is focussed on the poetic source of artwork creation, and investigated in the project as the problem of the origin of the artwork. Drawings, paintings and video are, thus, made by the use of apophatic-artistic method, which allowed them to be organized and presented from within. The results of the project show the possibility of presenting the negative light in artworks, the legitimacy of translation of theoretical model of thinking into the process of artwork creation, and the significance of reflecting upon artistic creation by methodological means. The written part of the doctoral art project is in accordance with the creative and research process, offering its interpretation. The interpretation of the first part of the project has significantly influenced its second part, which shows that artworks and interpretation are closely related. Apart from the artistic ones, theoretical results of the project imply the possibility of an art theory developed from the artistic creation.
