The work examines the problem of autobiographical, social and political marginalization of dadaism of Dragan Aleksić, the founder and main representative of yugo-dada, dadaistic faction on the territory of the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes. Frames for the approach to the problem of Aleksić’s marginalization are paradigmatic and they are posed concentrically in the research-the widest circle is related to marginalization of dada-movement, and then to yugo-dada as its Yugoslav branch. By defining the concept of margin in literature and outside it, and the nature of marginalizing processes, conditions are fulfilled to define the concept of discourse-margin. This is a key concept for explaining the nature of textual existing of Dragan Aleksić on social and poetical edges of Yugoslav cultural space. When following the triple marginalization of yugodadaist Aleksić we will be guided by the order of discourse which implicitly and explicitly dictated Aleksić’s disregard. Political discourse of compromising and later integral Yugoslav will be negatively oriented towards national minorities, especially Hungarians, with whose activists Aleksić had an enviable cooperation. The research of autobiographical marginalization will be conducted through presenting the image Aleksić had about himself in the light of his dadaistic self-approach. By focusing on Balckanist identity the work explains the origin of automarginalization. Social marginalization in the work is presented through ethic dimension, based primarily on atheism, and also on the plan of political unsuitability. The result of the presentation of Aleksić’s relation to occupying power during World War II is an explanation for Aleksić’s physical marginalization, which necessarily lead to his withdrawal from public life and placed him on socioeconomic margins of Yugoslav society. The complex of problems which follows clarification of poetical marginalization is related to dehermetization of Aleksić’s dadaistic textual practice: his radicalisms, entropic poetry, prose and dramatic experiments. Special attention is paid to Aleksić’s interpolation of subculture elements: jazz, film and circus into poetics.en
