U upitnik su uključene sledeće skale: Skala aktivnog starenja (UJACAS), Maastriht skala socijalne participacije (MSPP), Gerijatrijska skala depresije (GDS), Skala brige o sebi (ADL), Lubenova skala društvenih kontakata (LSNS-6), Skala moći (PM), Skala samopercepcije ličnog starenja (SLO), Skala zadovoljstva negom (NHRSS), Mini-mental kratki kongnitivni test (MMSE). Viši stepen socijalne participacije ostvaruju osobe boljeg materijalnog i boljeg kognitivnog statusa, osobe koje imaju učestalije društvene kontakte i manju percepciju moći kontrolisanja sopstvenog života.

The main phase of the research involved filling out questionnaires by respondents, who signed the text of the informed consent. The final phase of the research included statistical data processing and publication of the results. The data was collected in the period from August 2020 to September 2021. The research included people over 60 years old who are housed in nursing homes. The sample consisted of 200 persons, of both sexes, in the: Banja Luka Gerontology Center, Banja Luka Pensioners' Home, Prijedor Pensioners' Home and Kneževo Nursihg home.
