Интелектуални капитал као фактор успеха спортских организација

Abstract

АПСТРАКТ Главни циљ истраживања изведеног на узорку од 101 испитаника запослених у 3 успешне и 4 мање успешне спортске организације био је утврђивање доприноса интелектуалног капитала спортске организације. Спортске организације су према критеријуму односа расхода и прихода у завршним финансијским извештајима подељење на успешне и мање успешне спортске организације. Реализација овог, као и још неколико не мање важних циљева подразумевала је конструисање упитника интелектуалног капитала (УИК/2015) са индикаторима демографских карактеристика и проценом широког опсега варијабли интелектуалног капитала. Примена адекватних статистичких процедура (мере централне тенденције варијабилности, корелациона и регресионa анализа и експлоративна факторска анализа) показала је да 13 варијабли интелектуалног капитала имају значајан утицај на успешност спортских организација, а међу њима посебан допринос показује придавање пажње медијима, брига о корисницима, постојање могућности за изношење идеја и сугестија и њихово уважавање, усклађивање захтева радних места са квалификацијама запослених, дужина радног стажа/искуства, раније такмичарско бављење спортом запослених, задовољство имиџом клуба/организације. Поредећи финансијски успешне и мање успешне спортске организације открили смо да 24 од укупно 35 варијабли интелектуалног капитала статистички значајно доприносе разликама међу њима, односно да их успешно диференцирају. Истовремено, 15 статистички значајних коефицијената корелације варијабли интелектуалног капитала са успешношћу спортских организација додатно потврђује несумњиву повезаност интелектуалног капитала са финанијском успешношћу спортских организација. Резултати експлоративне факторске анализе нису потврдили општеприхваћену трокомпонентну структуру интелектуалног капитала (људски, релациони и структурални), већ су открили пет независних фактора који су по својој структури и значењу прилично хетерогени. Осим што је ово истраживање дало теоријски допринос познавању, идентификовању и мерењу интелектуалног капитала у спортским организацијама оно је изнедрило психометријски поуздан и валидан инструмент за његово мерење и пружило низ корисних информација које се могу употребити као смернице за успешније пословање спортских организација, рационалније коришћење интелектуалног капитала и повећање свесности о његовом вишеструком значају.

ABSTRACT The main goal of this research, conducted on a sample of 101 respondents employed in 3 successful and 4 less successful sports organizations, was to determine the intellectual capital contribution within sports organizations. According to the criterion of the ratio of expenditures and revenues in the final financial reports, sports organizations are divided into successful and less successful sports organizations. Realization of this, as well as several more not less important goals, implied the construction of questionnaires of intellectual capital (UIK/2015) with indicators of demographic characteristics and assessment of a wide range of intellectual capital variables. According to the criterion of the ratio of expenditures and revenues in the final financial reports, sports organizations are divided into successful and less successful sports organizations. Realization of this, as well as several more not less important goals, implied the construction of questionnaires of intellectual capital (UIK / 2015) with indicators of demographic characteristics and assessment of a wide range of intellectual capital variables. The implementation of the adequate statistical procedures (measures of the central tendency of variability, correlation and regression analysis and exploratory factor analysis) showed that 13 variables of intellectual capital have a significant impact on the sports organizations’ performance, among which a special contribution is dedicated to the media, the care of users, presentation of ideas, suggestions and their appreciation, matching job requirements with qualifications of employees, the amount of prior service/experience, earlier competitive engagement in sports, satisfaction with the club image/organization image. By comparing financially successful and less successful sports organizations, we found that 24 out of 35 variables of intellectual capital statistically contribute significantly to differences between them, that is, to differentiate them successfully. At the same time, 15 statistical significant correlation coefficients of intellectual capital variables with the performance of sports organizations further confirm the undoubted connection of intellectual capital with the financial performance of sports organizations. The results of the exploratory factor analysis have not been confirmed by the generally accepted three-component structure of intellectual capital (human, relational, and structural), but have been discovered by five independent factors that are by their structure and meaning quite heterogeneous. Apart from the fact that this research gave a theoretical contribution to the acknowledgement, identification and measurement of intellectual capital in sports organizations, it has developed a psychometrically reliable and valid instrument for measuring it and provided a number of useful information that can be used as guidelines for the successful operation of sports organizations, more rational use of intellectual capital and increasing awareness of its multiple significance.
