dc.description.abstractPredmet istraživanja jeste ispitivanje uticaja engleskog kao prvog stranog jezika na učenje italijanskog kao drugog stranog jezika u kontekstu formalnog obrazovanja u Srbiji. Proces učenja prvog i drugog stranog jezika poseduje zajedničke karakteristike, ali se kvantitativno i kvalitativno razlikuje. Jedna od specifičnosti procesa učenja drugog stranog jezika je međujezički transfer koji nastaje kao posledica uticaja sličnosti i razlika ciljnog jezika i bilo kog drugog jezika koje je učenik prethodno učio. Bliskost jezika, nivo znanja, količina izloženosti, upotreba jezika tj. učestalost korišćenja, redosled usvajanja, status jezika, kontekst predstavljaju najrasprostranjenije faktore koji do ovog uticaja dovode. Međujezički transfer je najevidentniji na polju leksike i morfologije i u velikoj meri definiše prirodu i odlike međujezika koji se tom prilikom javlja. Pored teorisjkog okvira, doktorka teza obuhvata analizu rezultata istraživanja koje ispituje na koji način nivo znanja i količina izloženosti engleskog kao prvog stranog jezika utiču na pisanu produkciju leksike i morfologije italijanskog kao drugog stranog jezika kod srbofonih učenika na uzrastu od 11 do 15 godina. Testirani su učenici petog i sedmog razreda osnovne škole ,,Petar Petrović Njegoš'' koji uče engleski jezik od prvog i italijanski od petog razreda. Dobijeni podaci obrađeni su metodama kvantitativne i kvalitativne analize. Glavni cilj rada usmeren je na kritičku analizu leksičkih i morfoloških oblika međujezika učenika petog i sedmog razreda, ali i na utvrđivanje u kojoj meri su učenici na ovom uzrastu sposobni da koriste sopstvene metalingvističke strategije pri učenju novog stranog jezika. Pored toga, definisane su i smernice nastave italijanskog kao drugog stranog jezika u cilju poboljšanja kvaliteta nastave i lakšeg i bržeg učenja drugog stranog jezika.sr
dc.description.abstractThe subject of the research is to study the influence that an English language has as the first foreign language on the acquisition of Italian as the second foreign language in the context of formal education in Serbia. The process with regard to the learning of the first and the second foreign language has mutual characteristics; however, it is different in terms of quantity and quality. One of the complex features related to the second foreign language acquisition is crosslinguistic influence resulting from similarities and differences between the target language and any other language a learner has previously acquired. Typological similarity, language proficiency, amount of exposure, the language use, i.e. the frequency of use, order of acquisition, language status, context, present the most prevailing factors leading to this influence. Crosslinguistic influence is the most evident in the field of lexis and morphology defining to a large extent the nature and characteristics of interlanguage occurring on that occasion. In addition to theoretical framework, doctoral dissertation encompasses the analysis of the results with regard to the study examining how the language proficiency and the amount of exposure to the English language as the first foreign language influence the written production of lexis and morphology of Italian as the second foreign language with regard to serbo-phonic students at the age of 11 to 15. The fifth and the seventh grade pupils of the primary school “Petar Petrović Njegoš” studying the English language from the first grade and the Italian language from the fifth grade have been tested. Obtained data have been processed using the methods of quantitative and qualitative analysis. The major objective of the paper is to analyse critically lexical and morphological characteristics with regard to the interlanguage of the fifth and seventh grade pupils, as well as to define the extent in which the pupils at that age are able to use their own metalinguistic strategies when acquiring a new foreign language. In addition, teaching guidelines for the Italian as the second foreign language have been defined with the aim of improving the quality of teaching and easier and swifter acquisition of the second foreign language.en
