Политичке и правне вредности САД у светлу америчке критичке мисли током 19. века

Abstract

Дисертација представља истраживање америчког 19. века из угла уоченог несагласја између званичног наратива о САД као друштву заснованом на идејама Декларације независности и одредбама Устава САД у односу на фактичку историју. Полазна премиса почива на уочавању дубоког раскорака између идеја слободе, права човека и једнакости свих људи, на којима је успостављена држава, у односу на друштвено-историјски развој у 19. веку. Хипотетички оквир елаборира се у доказном поступку кроз реферисање на америчке историјске личности које су, као савременици епохе, јавно указивале на уочени раскорак као на идејну, идеолошку и друштвено-политичку мањкавост САД. Ове личности у раду се називају критички гласови, гласови разлике, односно, америчка критичка мисао. Сложеност истраживања проузроковала је комбиновани методолошки приступ, као и методолошке поступке неколико друштвених наука, политичких, социолошких, антрополошких и опште хуманистичких, што је довело до проширених закључка који надилазе полазни хипотетички оквир. Резултат истраживања је потврда претпоставке да је у 19. веку критичка мисао била развијена, присутна и, у извесном степену, политички релевантна и да је претпоставка о несагласју идејно-идеолошког наратива са реалном историјом у потпуности потврђена, те да америчко друштво 19. века у великој мери није било у сагласју са вредностима и митолошким наративом на којима се конструише званична представа о Сједињеним Државама. Додатни резултати односе се, између осталог, на уочавање нових појединости о природи Декларације независности и федералног устава, а који се односе на мањи степен универзалоности Декларације, затим на дијалектичку везу два документа, као и на регресивни карактер Устава САД као врховног правног акта на којем је успостављена федерална држава.

The dissertation represents a research about the United States in 19th century. It is constructed from the standpoint of the discrepancy between the official narrative about the United States as a society based on the ideas of the Declaration of Independence and the articles of the US Constitution in relation to factual history. The starting premise is based on the perception of a deep discrepancy between the idea of liberty, the rights of man and the equality of all, on which the state was established, in relation to socio-historical development in the 19th century. The hypothetical framework is elaborated in the evidence process by referring to American historical figures who, as the contemporaries of the epoch, publicly pointed to the perceived discrepancy as the ideological, ideological and socio-political defect of the United States. These figures in the work are called critical voices, voices of difference, that is, American critical thought. The complexity of the research was caused by a combined methodological approach, as well as the methodological procedures of several social sciences, political, sociological, anthropological and general humanities, which led to extended conclusions that go beyond the initial hypothetical framework. The result of the research is a confirmation of the assumption that in the 19th century the critical thought was developed, present and, to some extent, politically relevant, and that the assumption of a disagreement of ideological-ideological narrative with a real history was fully confirmed, and that American society of the 19th century to a large extent was not in line with the values and mythological narratives on which the official image of the United States was constructed. Additional results relate, inter alia, to the discovery of new details about the nature of the Declaration of Independence and the federal constitution concerning the lower degree of universality of the Declaration, the dialectical link between the two documents, and the regressive character of the US Constitution as the supreme law on which a federal state was established.
